Fiona's Story...
Sweet Fiona had a rough start to her life. She was found abandoned at only 6 weeks. Mom was known to be a hound Shep mix. She probably only had a few days before she would have perished from disease and malnutrition. After some love and much needed medical attention she is a happy and healthy puppy. Due to her circumstances, she will need love, guidance and nurturing from a strong human.

She loves playing with dogs and cats, but will need some guidance with cats as she grows. She is smart little girl. She was housebroken within a few days and learning basic commands with little effort.

Now she needs a human family to give her the loving, safe environment she needs. She requires a home with another playful dog to play with and keep socialized.

She will be an active dog and grow to 50 pounds.

Fiona is 12 weeks old as of 11/2/16.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fiona, a Gilbert Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
