Nicky's Story...
Sweet boy! DOB 2005. Owner surrender to LCDAS. Nicky had a terrible flea allergy and with some antibiotics, medicated baths, good food a and lots of love he is feeling so much better! He is a low key guy, but still has lots of spunk! He loves to fetch a tennis ball, go for short walks and loves lots of belly rubs. He will sleep right at your feet while you are watching tv. He does get along with other dogs and is cat friendly as well. Nicky's foster mom believes he would do best with a secured, fenced in yard as he is a runner if he gets loose. He can NOT be around chickens...he doesn't like them. He does have so much love to give! Nicky is available for adoption .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nicky, a Cape Coral Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Cape Coral, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Cape Coral.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cape Coral already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cape Coral breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cape Coral paves the way for another one to be saved.
