My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I'm Major, I'm 3 years old. I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and on Heartguard. I'm housebroken, but when I get scared I will submissive pee. I haven't had any problems with school aged kids 5+, but I have never been around babies. I'm a hound, so I walk with my nose to the ground, but I wear a harness and I don't pull. I love to play tug of war and ball. But my favorite toy is an empty water bottle!
I'm really well behaved outside, I don't dig. But I have been kept as a mostly indoor dog. I did learn how to climb chain link fencing, so I need a home with a solid fence, or to be watched when I'm outside. I love to meet new people, so I like to watch for them in the window and will bark if I see someone. Sadly, they don't usually come over to meet me, but I keep trying to get them to come play with me. It's a good way to get exercise if I'm not taken for a walk that day too! I resource guard certain treats, I like them so much I don't want you to take them from me. I'm going to a trainer to learn to be better about it. At the trainers I'm going to find out if I'm good with other dogs and cats too!
