Bodi's Story...
Bodi is SUCH a handsome guy & OH SO loving :) He is needing a quiet home to finish off his years.

He is healthy but an older gentleman at 10 years young. He was given up by his owners who said they could no longer care for him. He was rotting outside in dirt & in AZ heat. We couldn't allow him to go on like that. He was very matted so we had to shave him down :( There was unfortunately no saving his coat! But hey- it will grow back & he will be fluffy again soon :)

He is now LOVING being an inside dog :) He gets along with all dogs, livestock & kitties!!! We are unsure how he would do with little little kids-- but would be fine with any kids that are gentle like him :)

He is mellow & an absolute sweetheart with no health issues.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bodi, a Phoenix Australian Shepherd/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Husky for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Husky dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Husky breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
