My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SHADOW is a 10 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 73 pounds. : Shadow is a very sweet older gentleman looking for a home where he won't be left alone for a long workday. He was used to having a human around in his previous home. He is very sweet and enjoys car rides. He is very good with other dogs. He takes treats gently and he enjoys eating. He likes to walk around the yard. We don't have any history of Shadow living with cats or children. Shadow was an owner surrender to the shelter because they couldn't take care of him anymore. He's approved for children 10 +.

Update: Shadow is a sweet boy, full of charm and kisses. He was a delight at the adoption day, and met all the other dogs and humans with kisses and tail wags. The mere scent of a treat gets his attention and you'll get those gorgeous chocolate eyes begging you for more. Impossible to resist! He's looking for a human or humans who want a constant companion, your own little shadow. He's great with other dogs (even a large group of them), and size doesn't matter!

Update: Shadow has spent time with the resident cats and completely ignores them. So we are gonna say he is good with cats. He is houstrained and prefers to be with his people when walking outside outside. He would love a home where his people are home with him more than not.

Update: Shadow is loving life at his foster home. He gets to go to work with foster mom and loves greeting all the people and dogs. Shadow is good with dogs large and small. He's really just looking for a spot to nap, and a human (or two) to love him. He's got a few achy joints, and his hearing isn't great, but the love this boy will reward you with makes up for any of those silly imperfections. He lives up to his name, and will be your shadow!
