Shotgun's Story...
Hi my name is Shotgun and I am a 13 week old Pug mix puppy. I currently weigh around 13 lbs. My buddy Pistol and I are made the long trip from West Virginia to find our forever homes. I'm looking for a wonderful loving adopter who can be at home during the day as I'm too young for day care. I promise to love you and obey you, if you train me of course. If you are interested in me please fill out the online application as it will speed up the process. I passed my health certificate and am available now. Come to meet me on Tuesday 3-5 if you can, or Sat 12-3. By the way, I will need cherry eye surgery, which Save A Dog will cover. Your donations will give me a good start to life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shotgun, a Sudbury Pug puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Sudbury, or seeking a Pug puppy from a breeder in Sudbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sudbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sudbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sudbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
