My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We live in Colonial Heights and recently took in a very sweet and lovable stray dog. She was very emaciated when we first found her, and despite many attempts (including checking for a microchip), no owner has been located. We’ve called this sweet girl Lucky, and she has been with us for about a month now and is finally up to a healthy weight and ready for a good home! She is good with humans of all ages, including children, and has a very gentle demeanor. She is a low energy dog, however she does enjoy a nice walk or a game of fetch in the back yard. We have been working with Lucky on her basic manners (sit, stay, wait), and although she’s not perfect on house training (what stray is?), she’s crate-trained and is getting the hang of the “going outside” thing. Lucky walks wonderfully on a leash and is up-to-date on her rabies vaccine.
