Hey, my name is Tootles!
I am a very sweet boy and used to live outside as a stray. I now live inside and let me tell you, this life is AWESOME! I have a warm bed, food in my dish, toys and a fun tower to play in.
I have met my foster brothers and sisters (four legged like me). The cats and I get along really well, the dogs are a little crazy, but I am coming around!
I LOVE to cuddle, play with toys and nap. My favorite thing is be be carried around like a little baby, I just curl right in and you don't even know I'm there.
There is something you need to know when considering adopting me. I tested positive for Feline Leukemia.
Feline Leukemia is a disease that is contagious among cats, so it is important that I am only cat, live with other cats that also have Feline Leukemia, or live with cats who have been vaccinated against it.
I can live a normal, healthy, long life! Please don't let this deter you from meeting me.
My foster mom has had a few Felk. cats and she's convinced we are the best! She can also help answer any questions you would have about the disease!
So please fill out an application to meet me! I'd love to cuddle up with you:)
If you are interested in me, please fill out an adoption application at www.ruffstartrescue.org. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal. Once we receive your application, a placement coordinator will be in contact with you as soon as possible.
Please check out our website, www.ruffstartrescue.org for more details and additional pictures on any of our animals!
All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).
