Meet Brownie, an approximately 2 year old female pittbull mix who is your new snuggle buddy!

While Brownie is new to our rescue, we know that she is very sweet with people -- loves to cuddle under the covers -- and is great in her crate.

Brownie is house and crate trained, loves to play with toys, and knows three basic commands: "sit", "down", and "paw". She's eager to learn and would thrive in a home with structure and dedication to encouraging a love of new things. Brownie is great with all people, and dogs her own size, however a feline free home is needed.

Brownie is new to our rescue, so we are still learning about her, please continue to check back as we learn more about this beautiful, sweet girl!

Brownie is being fostered in Milford, MA.

The adoption fee is $300.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

NOTE: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label

We work closely with local animal controls, animal shelters and rescue groups to ensure the placement of these forgotten animals. Our animals are vet examined, vaccinated, spayed or neutered as needed and receive any and all medical treatment necessary prior to being placed into carefully screened permanent homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our pets for adoption are in foster homes. You must fill out an adoption application before being considered for adoption. Once your application is received, the foster parent will contact you to discuss whether the animal would be a good fit for your home and set up a meet between your family and the pet.

We also house several cats in our adoption center at the Framingham,Cambridge, and Everett PetSmart stores. Stop by to play with them anytime the store is open!

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process includes an adoption application; a meet-and-greet between the prospective adopters, the dog, and the foster family; vet and personal reference checks; and a home visit.

Adopters must be at least 21 years of age.

DOGS:

Our adoption donation is generally between $300 - $400 for most adult dogs and is decided on a case-by-case basis. Adoption donations help defray the cost of transportation, care, and medical treatment.

Kitten under 6 months: $200
Cats 6 months – 4 yrs: $125
Cats 5 yrs – 9 yrs: $100
