Nadia's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Nadia's Story...
Nadia is a favorite with the children who occasionally volunteer with us because she is such a laid-back cat. She enjoys being petted and is very curious, if a little wary, about people. She came in as a stray and doesn't seem too familiar with people though she does not seem very scared of them either. Nadia is looking for a home that will give her just a little more time to become used to everything that's new around her.

You can visit me during open hours, which are Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm and Saturdays from 10am-1pm or email to make an appointment for another time. Please see our website at palspetsia.com for adoption fees and other information!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nadia, a Grinnell Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Grinnell, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Grinnell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grinnell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grinnell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grinnell paves the way for another one to be saved.
