Count's Story...
The Count (Ah, Ah, Ahhhhhhhh)
Halloween is full of surprises, but The Count was one of our most pleasant surprises yet. This sweet, hound mix stole our hearts immediately upon our shelter visit. He is approximately 1 year old and 45 pounds of galloping silliness. He is eager to please and is very food motivated. Some other great qualities about this guy include: he plays well with his foster dog siblings of various sizes, he loves to go for walks, he doesn't bark much, he loves snuggling in bed, he does ok in a crate, and he travels well in the car. Count is an active guy, who would love owner that will do some training, teach him some fun tricks, and take him for daily walks. This guy is sweet and playful, and good with kids as long as they are familiar with a dog his size.
Think you might open your heart and home to him? Count is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines as well as heart worm and flea prevention. Copy/paste the link to check out my YouTube channel for videos on this guy:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Count, a Huntsville Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
