Chelsea's Story...
Greetings - My name is Chelsea and I am a 2-3 yr old lab mix who is currently in training in Puppies for Parole at CRCC. I came her to learn some manners and basic obedience training. Since I arrived, I have learned how to play with other dogs but sometimes I do get vocal when I play. I have learned all of the basic obedience such as sit, stay, lay down & recall where I come when I am off leash. I also know place, touch, wait at doors, shake & high 5. I am kennel trained and house trained. I do well with other dogs but I must meet them to know if we will be friends. Also, I do not like little kids so I must go to a home without children. I am always learning new things so I am sure that the list of skills will grow. I am ready for adoption to my special family to be my forever home. If you are interested in meeting or adopting this dog or if you have any questions please feel free to contact our volunteer Kathy Zipp at chattyz@hotmail.com or contact her at 816-752-2295. Thanks

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chelsea, a Cameron Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Cameron, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Cameron.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cameron already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cameron breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cameron paves the way for another one to be saved.
