Pete's Story...
Hi! My name is Pete. I'm a 3 year 7 month old Domestic Short Hair. I have been neutered, de-wormed, micro-chipped, and I have received my vaccinations. I will still require a rabies vaccine after I am adopted.

I'm a nice guy that can be a little shy at first, but once I warm up to you, I will be the perfect companion to have around. I came into the shelter with my "sister" Phoebe, and she is just as excited to find a new home too. I'm looking for a home that will allow me to relax and just enjoy my life laying in the sun and getting ear scratches from my new human. I do play from time to time, so maybe some feather toys too for when I decide to act like a kitten for a few minutes. So if I sound like the laid back guy you've been looking for, then look no further, here I am!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pete, a Lloydminster Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lloydminster, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lloydminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloydminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloydminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloydminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
