Donnie is a sweet and funny Labrador/Terrier mix who is losing him home. Donnie's favorite things are playing and being with his family. He loves fetch and hanging out with his dog brother chewing on his toys. Although Donnie is timid when he is first meeting people, once he gets to know a person he is their friend forever, especially if they'll play fetch! This lovely boy is very well behaved and knows all basic commands including sit, stay, down and will wait to eat until released to do so. He is housebroken and also crate trained. Donnie is extremely affectionate and loves to be petted. He's good with other dogs, people and children and is in excellent health. Donnie needs a family with the time to give him the love and exercise he needs. He is 3 years old, the perfect size at 40 lbs and is neutered and vaccinated.
The Pet Adoption League is a non-profit, completely volunteer animal rescue organization that was established December 1937 and incorporated January 1958. PAL services the Northwest NJ area and beyond. We are not a shelter, but a no-kill rescue group. We always have a variety of dogs and cats in our care, most of which were rescued from pounds. We also assist pet owners in finding homes for pets they can no longer keep. We hold weekly pet adoptions at local establishments and we find homes for all our animals - no matter how long it takes!
