Sadie Mae's Story...
Sadie Mae, a Treeing Walker Coonhound, had been running scared for two months in the city of Gillsville after being abandoned. After being caught she was reported to Animal Control and no one claimed her. DRDR was contacted to help this pitiful pup find some safety in this world. She was extremely thin, malnourished, and terrified of being hit. Despite her very sweet demeanor, there is no doubt Sadie Mae has seen severe physical cruelty in her short years on this earth as she used to shake uncontrollably and cower in fear when meeting anyone new. DRDR has found a loving foster home that will rehabilitate this sweet lady. Sadie is fully vetted and spayed. She is loving her foster family and really enjoys being a house dog who is crate and house trained. She is learning a lot by watching and interacting with the other foster dogs in her foster family’s home. She attended Woofstock in October and did great. She really needs a family that loves hound dogs, is patient and will love this girl forever.
