I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Well hello Dolly! This black beauty is just two years old and weighs a bit over 12 pounds. Dolly is a Chihuahua mix. She is very calm and is super sweet and mellow. She is good with other dogs but not good around cats. We think she will make a great family dog. She loves to snuggle in her human’s lap but she also loves to play. Dolly is a well behaved little girl and walks well on leash and enjoys her car rides. Rescued by our sister organization in Mexico, Dolly has been spayed, dewormed and is current on all necessary vaccines. She has made her way to foster care in Edmonton where she is waiting for her forever family. If you think this tiny bundle of love would be the perfect fit for your family, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for an application.
PVCA Animal Rescue is the sister organization of the SPCA Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. We facilitate the transportation and adoption of rescue dogs into loving forever homes. PVCA is a network of volunteers, transporters, and foster homes. The mission of SPCA de PV is to help fund and promote sterilization, adoption and healthcare efforts for companion animals in the Puerto Vallarta area, with the goal of eliminating the euthanasia of healthy and adoptable animals. SPCA de PV is not supported by the government, corporations, foundations or businesses. The dogs & cats of Mexico are too often found living on the streets after being discarded and/or extremely abused. We devote ourselves to their physical and emotional rehabilitation and invite everyone to come and interact with the animals at our sanctuary. Compassion Knows No Boundaries!

Our Adoption Process...
We screen all applications and in most cases require a home check prior to placement. An approved adoption application must be on file before meetings are set up, as our dogs are in foster homes. We charge a $250USD adoption fee. We routinely follow up with a visit or at least a phone call after placement. We solicit follow up photos and publish adoptions in our weekly newsletter.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
