FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Penelope is a sweet and loving girl who can't wait to find her forever home! She would love to be the only dog so she can be the center of attention with her family. She would love a home with a fence as she loves to romp and play with her toys as she does zoomies around the yard. She is very attentive and is a quick study who enjoys training. This sweet girl will be a wonderful addition to her forever family!
EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Penelope was surrendered to the Bertie County Animal Shelter by her former owner. When BFPA volunteers saw a video of this happy girl playing in the shelter, we knew we had to get her out. She is now thriving in her foster home as she waits patiently for her forever family to find her!
