Sampson"s Christmas wish list:
A forever home for Christmas, where I will be loved and cared for.
A family I can hang out with lean into and kiss to show my love and gratitude to.
A family who will help me learn all I need to know to be the best I can be.
A doggie friend who would love to play and wrestle with me (living in my new home or visits often).
Want to be able to cuddle with my human family.
Toys and chew items to chew on, likes rope toys.
A fenced in yard with a taller fence as he is a pretty tall boy.
A nice dog bed to curl up on after a nice long walk.

Sampson is a sweet adorable 2yr old Tree Walker Coonhound. He is currently 60 lbs but needs to gain 10+ lbs, he is 25 inches as the shoulder. He has his active times as you can see by the video, but he can also be very laid back. He loves being with people and other dogs, he would probably be a bit much for a smaller dog. He saw cats at the vet behind glass, and didn't care, havn't had him near any other cats. He likes kids, best with kids over 6 due to his size and strength. We are seeking a single family home as Coonhounds don't make good apartment or townhouse dogs. Sampson is neutered, current on vaccinations, wormed, heartworm neg and microchipped.

If you are interested in meeting this guy, we start with an application so please contact his foster mom Debbie at dhbirdlover@gmail.com and she can send you one to fill out. His adoption fee is $250.00

We require a home visit prior to all adoptions, so all potential adopters must live within 50 miles of Aurora, IL. Thank you.

About Animal Heartline Humane Association

About Our Rescue Group...

Animal Heartline was founded by a small group of animal lovers who were individually helping stray and abandoned animals. Becoming chartered in 1979 as a humane society and officially recognized as a not-for-profit group enabled us to care for more animals. We are a no-kill organization staffed entirely by volunteers who are dedicated to finding homes for stray and unwanted pets. We obtain medical treatment for these pets and provide them with food and shelter until permanent, loving homes are found.
