Likes: Bailey loves to play with other dogs and loves kids!!


Dislikes:  Needs time to warm of up to strangers. She would do best in a home without men and in a house with low traffic. She needs a family that will continue to work with her on her fear of people, especially men.    


What else: Crate trained, potty trained, knows sit, a few other commands and walks well on a leash

Our adoption fee covers the dog/puppies spayed/neuter, current vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, Bortedella), has had a fecal test &/or has been dewormed if needed, has been tested for Heartworms (are HW negative or have been treated for HW) and are on Flea/Tick/HW monthly preventative.

2.) We will review application, contact references (current/former vet(s), landlord/home owners associations) INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE RESPONDED TO.... 

3.) If references check out and current/previous pets have been vetted & cared for, we will contact you to schedule a meet/greet. 

4.) If the meet/greet goes well, we will schedule a home visit and bring the dog you are interested in to your home to finalize the adoption.

Lucky K9 Rescue "Lucky K9" is a section 501(c)(3) dog rescue group, incorporated in 2016, with years of animal and rescue experience amongst our volunteers. "Lucky K9 " is committed to helping the most needy, as well as the readily adoptable, among our community's most vulnerable creatures. We are a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to restoring the dogs under our care to physical and emotional health as they await placement in loving, responsible homes.

Virtually all donated funds will be spent directly on the care of the animals.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process begins with you filling out an adoption application, which you can find on our website,

We will review each application and contact you with additional questions or clarification. If an application is approved, we will set up a home visit and meet & greet.

If all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, adoption fee paid and the adoption finalized.

All of our pets are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, microchip. Dogs are heart worm tested, cats are FeL/FIV tested.

NOTE: If you plan or keeping your adopted dog on a chain in your yard, please do not bother applying.
