Socks is a three year old Rottweiler. He is still very energetic.  He is reported as housebroken and gets along well with other dogs.  He does have an issue with his dad who lived in the same home but part of that may be because he wasn't neutered.

We have him scheduled for a vet visit the first of the week where he will be neutered and heartworm checked as well as a full physical.  He is a little touchy when you mess with his rear end.

He does have a history of having issues with one child (probably about 12) but we seriously question what was being done to the dog  as we see no temperament issues with him.

He is a little testy when he is eating but we believe with some diligence he can be broken of that or alternatively should be fed in his crate.  He is crate trained.

Because of his history he needs to go to an experienced Rottie  (or similar breed) owner who can work with him and not allow him to be the dominant in the home.  He just turned 3 the end of October.

We do not charge an application fee. We do charge an adoption fee if you have applied for an animal and that application is approved. The adoption fee is payable when you pick-up your new forever pet.

The main thing we require is Love. You must be able to love the pet you are adopting, you must be able to provide the pet with a home to keep them safe and comfortable.
