Poppy's Story...
Hello! My name is Poppy!

I am a 2-3 year old terrier mix girl. I have lots of energy and cute antics to amuse you for hours! My favorite thing to do is throw my toys around and then chase them..this makes my foster family laugh.

I like to follow my foster Mom around and try to help her with whatever she’s doing, she does the most curious things..she entertains me!

I love my furr foster friends. I love to play chase and tug of war with my furr foster brother, he is so nice to me even though he is 3x my size.

I love to give kisses to humans and canines alike. I have even been known to give a cat a bath but don’t tell anyone, it might ruin my canine reputation (apparently we are suppose to chase cats not lick them!???)

I live right now with my foster family but I really want a furr ever home of my own. Please call the Humane Society at 231-773-8689 to have them bring me to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Poppy, a Muskegon Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
