Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Pete!!
How Adorable is Pete!!
OMG! This guy has stolen many hearts, yet he is still waiting for a foster or forever home! Pete is a little shy when he first meets you, but then he opens up and he is just a big love! Pete is sweet, easy going, great on the leash, good in the car, good with kids. Pete is house trained and he is working on crate training. He would prefer a home without cats or small dogs.

In the Beginning: Pete once had a home…he was a cute puppy that had a family…things were great until he turned 2…you see, that is when his family decided to move…but they didn't tell Pete. His family did the unthinkable...…they left him behind in an abandoned home. A kind hearted, elderly neighbor started taking care of him. She couldn't bring him home because she already had dogs in her care, but she made sure he was fed, had shelter and water. She was afraid if Pete was impounded he would be killed.
Well, fast forward a year, Pete was living on the streets relying on the kindness of the good Samaritan who was taking care of him when Animal Control picked him up. As soon as he was impounded we were alerted to his story, and as soon as he was available we got him out of there. Now we need an amazing home for Pete!
Even through it all Pete is still a love. He can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly and just wants attention. Pete is about 61 pounds, rides well in the car and deserves an awesome, loving family!
