Facts about Remy

  • Color: White - With Brown Or Chocolate
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Remy is a wonderful 4-year old boy who is looking for a family to call his own. It is very evident to his current foster dad that he has had a very hard life. He is afraid of loud noises (his "owner" may have tried to train to hunt and when he wasn't up to the task, dumped him in a kill shelter). He loves to play with other dogs. He is good with children but does love to play that we believe that older children are ok but may be too much for very young children.

Rey needs a family who will understand his fears and give him the time and space to overcome them. If you are looking for an exceptional, loving dog, Remy is your man!

About Save A Dog A Day

About Our Rescue Group...

Save A Dog A Day has over 700 documented rescues since its inception in 2008. These animals (dogs and cats) were rescued from kill shelters and placed into other rescues, foster homes, and permanent homes.

Save A Dog A Day now has over 70 volunteers working tirelessly all over the United States to save dogs an cats in danger of being euthanized for no other reason than "lack of space".

Save A Dog A Day is now working with many other rescues and shelters to help coordinate the release of as many animals as possible to safe, loving homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Since we are a national rescue, we have fosters all over the United States therefore we will say in each add for a pet the info on what state the animal is in.. We will have to have a approved application first!!

Our Adoption Process...

We require all pets to be spayed or neutered. Often we will have this done before the pet is adopted. If the pet is too young to be spayed or neutered at the time of adoption, we will follow up to ensure that this has been done by the owner at the appropriate time. We must have an approved adoption application, complete a home visit and check a veterinarian reference before adoption is completed. Adoption fees vary on each adoption based upon the age of the pet, the health of the pet and the costs incurred for the animal's medical care prior to adoption, as well as transportation costs. Fees range from $150.00 to $350.00
