Can you believe this handsome boy was a stray. When you meet Tucker you will be awe struck as well because he is well behaved, gentle, affectionate and just simply wants to be near human companions. Tucker is about 2-3 years old and is a Cattle Dog mix who would like to be an inside dog because its where he can be close to his loved ones. Tucker is good with children, other dogs and even feline friends when inside- outside ones will run and he will chase. Tucker tries to keep his kenel clean and would benefit from a refreshers course and lots of outside tiem.

Tucker's adoption fee is $100.00 which covers his wellness check, age appropriate vaccinations, rabies shot and neuter surgery.
TUCKER, Cattle Dog Mix has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

About Stephens County Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

We are a Humane Society and Rescue organization serving Stephens County, Oklahoma and it's communities. We work closely with local municipal animal control departments in providing shelter to abandoned, abused, and surrendered animals, and finding homes for as many adoptable pets as we possibly can. We stress spaying and neutering as the one key way to prevent unwanted puppies and kittens.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our Shelter is located at 714 Martin Luther King Ave., Duncan, Oklahoma 73533. Our current hours are:

Monday & Thursday : closed except for intakes
Tuesday & Friday : 12-6
Wednesday & Saturday: 12-4
Sunday: 12-2

We are closed all major Holidays

Our Adoption Process...

We use a simple adoption application/agreement. To complete the application process, we ask for reference letters from the adopting family's veterinarian and two character references. Adoption fees are $100.00 for dogs and $75.00 for cats. Fees include spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccination and age appropriate vaccinations.

We have 3 main requirements for our dog adoptions.
1- We require a fenced yard
2- If you rent, we require a letter from the landlord stating
pets are permitted in their residence.
3- If you have dogs currently, arrangements must be
made for a meet and greet to ensure all parties are
agreeable.
