Ziggy's Story...
Meet Ziggy! Sometimes we wish our dogs could tell us their stories. Here's what we know. He's 4-5 yrs old and he was found as a skinny stray with his leg chopped off!

But what happened before doesn't matter, the future is what Ziggy looks forward to! He had surgery to remove the leg stump that was left and he's ready to find his forever family. It's difficult to describe The Zig in text, he's such a silly character! Do you ever wish a dog could tell you exactly what they wanted? No worries with Ziggy, he will let you know! Ziggy is a goofy, friendly, always happy boy that wears his heart on his sleeve. He's quite the talker and will grumble and groan until he gets what he wants! He lives for snuggles and rubs, he's a big clumsy lap dog! If you stop petting before he's done, he'll tell you so and gently chew on your hand and nudge his way in until you give in and start again! Ziggy gets along well with other dogs and does well with cats(though he is learning that yelling at cats doesn't make them want to play with him!). He loves people! Ziggy likes to play with toys and to run around outside, he is fast on 3 legs! When he's done playing he wants to snuggle in close and relax. He is crate trained but also does well loose in the house for short periods and loves to sleep in bed with his foster mom. He is potty trained and walks well on leash. Ziggy is up to date on all vaccinations, has been treated for tick disease, he's neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Email for an application to adopt the funny goofy boy! A home check is required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ziggy, a Snyder Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Snyder, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Snyder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Snyder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Snyder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Snyder paves the way for another one to be saved.
