Hi, there! My name is Sophie. What’s yours? Nice to meet ya!
Hey! Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK?
I am a Boston Terrier/Great Dane mix (Yes, it's true, we think.) and I’m 9 months old and I weigh 40 pounds. I'm probably just about at my grown-up weight. I have had all of my shots and have been spayed so I can go to my new home with YOU! Those funny-looking 2-legged creatures said I’m also microchipped – whatever THAT is. At any rate, I will be fully vetted. Is that anything close to petted? I love to be petted!
Wanna hear some more good stuff about me? OK, here goes. I am friendly with adult people, kids too, and I LOVE other doggies. I go to doggie daycare. It is SO fun and I’m learning lots of new things. I know I still have a lot to learn and you can teach me all the things I need to know. OK? Here are a couple of good things that I already know! I am house-trained and crate-trained. YAY ME!!!
I am super sweet, my foster tells everyone. I know she’s telling the truth because they all love on me and smile and speak very sweetly to me. So, it must be true! AND, I’m very energetic and strong and healthy. I hope you can keep up with me! I need lots of exercise to strengthen my body and keep my mind busy, too, so I don’t get into trouble. I’m a good girl so don’t worry about that!
My foster mom loves me SO much that she only wants me to fly to my new home even if a pet transport truck was available. See my adoption information below.

My adoption fee is $650 USD and includes my vetting, spaying, microchip, health certificate, travel crate AND transportation on United Airlines from Houston, TX to areas in the Northeast U.
