Millie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Millie's Story...
Millie has been homeless for some time and was hanging around the neighborhood when good person took the time to help her and get her to the shelter. Apparently she played with the neighborhood dogs and is quite friendly. We have never seen her interact with cats. This poor girl is in sad shape, she has slot hair most probably due to a flea allergy. Don't worry we will lavish her with as much tender loving care as we can to help her recover. Millie is a eight year old Lab mix.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie, a Somerset Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Somerset, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Somerset.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Somerset already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Somerset breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Somerset paves the way for another one to be saved.
