Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lily is a loving girl with plenty of puppy energy. Due to her rough start, she's a little cautious at first but is quick to warm...especially when given bits of her favorite training treats... hot dogs! Speaking of training, Lily is extremely smart and eager to please. She can be easily trained to do just about anything. She's also familiar with doggie doors and loves the freedom it gives her to chase birds, bugs, and go potty. Her favorite activities include the dog park, fetch, and tug of war. She tries to make friends with all of the humans and dogs at the dog park and does a pretty good job staying above the fray. Hikes are still a little stressful for her at the start so many people, animals, and smells so extra support and calm from her owner is in order. But she warms up to the hike and by the end she's enjoying the adventure. She will match the tempo of what you're doing and has been known to take her bone all around the house, watching while her owner cooks and cleans. Lily sleeps in her crate through the night and retreats to it during the day for comfort (aka when she has to have a dreaded bath). Maybe above all, Lily loves snuggles. She seems to like the comfort of being able to feel you while she chews her bone or dozes off. Smart, spunky, and sweet are the perfect words to sum up this pup.
