Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet little Dakota is an ten month old fun-loving, wicked smart pup. She is 46 pounds and full grown. She is potty trained and doggie door trained. She knows sit, touch, and gives a high five. We're still working on stay and come, and she kinda thinks the leash means lay down and give you the belly. She has her moments of running around acting crazy, might bowl you over a little, but also isn't opposed to being a lounge lizard. She showed no interest in cats, but was not tested around one running loose. Dakota still has some puppy traits and does like to chew so best to make sure she has appropriate toys. She likes everyone including children, but might knock little ones over. She shares food, water and toys with joy, loves to lie on the bed, and snuggles with her people. Dakota lets me bathe her, clean her ears and teeth, and doesn't mind being brushed either. She is a very patient girl. Sometimes she is almost overly submissive which may be the result of abuse, but has shown tremendous progress. Dakota is valley fever positive and will require fluconizole (medication) twice a day for at least a year, per the vet. She will also need to have blood work done to check this periodically. Other than that she is super excited to meet and become a part of her forever loving home.
