Frosty was adopted in 2015 and unfortunately has been returned to MARS due to his parents divorcing and being unable to keep him.
Frosty was diagnosed with IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) in 2015. He takes budesonide, a locally-acting corticosteroid, for daily maintenance of the IBD. He does have sensitivities to certain foods (lamb, beef, salmon, wheat etc), and is currently doing GREAT on a turkey based dehydrated food. As long as his food stays consistent, he should have no further issues -YAY!
Frosty does have flare-ups with demodectic mange which is non contagious but can cause some hairloss.
Frosty was originally found as a stray and left unclaimed in a local impound. He is such a friendly and social little guy that is so full of love and affection.
Frosty LOVES his people, belly rubs, cuddles and exploration. He especially loves going for rides in the car!
Frosty is good with resident dogs and cats. He is also wonderful at the “kennel up” command!
Do you have room in your heart and home for a bundle of love?
