My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dillon is a 4 month old male Pitbull mix puppy. Dillon would make an excellent addition to an active family, who would plan to include in him in their activities. He adores children and loves to play with other dogs. When Dillon can't find anybody to play with him, he will occupy himself with squeaky toys or stuffed toys and play and play and play until he finally collapses - preferably in a sun spot. Dillon spends the night in a crate and he does do well throughout the night being very quiet. At this point, he still requires a potty pad in the crate because he can't quite hold it all night long. During the day, Dillon is not as fond of being in the crate and will have a tendency to bark at times in protest. He does enjoy having a rawhide inside his crate to pass the time. Dillon is still working on perfecting his housebreaking skills but is starting to go to the back door when he needs to go out, so as long as he is watched the accidents can be avoided. Dillon is a total love bug and loves curling up on the couch next to or even on top of his person. It would be beneficial that Dillon attend obedience school so that he can grow up to be a well-trained, well-socialized member of society. Dillon can be excitable and likes to leap and jump and may be too much for families with children under the age of 5. He has been neutered and is up-to-date on his shots, but will require his final puppy shots. Because of Dillon's breed, he will not be adopted to any families who are renting or live in an apartment. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you would like to learn more about Dillon and think that you might be his perfect forever home, please contact his foster mom, Jodi, at 630-978-7323. The adoption fee is $225.
