Meet Buster at our Adoption Event on December 11th at the Daly City PetSmart on 315 Gellert Blvd from noon to 2PM.

Buster and his sibling Blue were found as strays. He and his sister are now in a foster home with a German Shepherd who is doing a wonderful job helping them grow up. He is about 7 months and will be spayed next week. They are both incredibly cute and play so well together. He is crate trained, almost house trained and learning commands. He is easy to walk and is a pretty mellow dog.overall. Please contact us so we can arrange for you to see him.

Blue has been adopted.

Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial medical and other costs in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we must charge an adoption fee. The adoption fee for Buster is $250.

If you are interested in adopting Buster, please complete our online adoption application at http://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/adoption-process.html. One of our volunteers will get back to you. Adoptions are local, confined to the SF Bay Area.

About Grateful Dogs Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Grateful Dogs Rescue was founded in 1990; its mission is to rescue dogs not made available for adoption at San Francisco Animal Care and Control and other local shelters through no fault of their own. Rather than letting these dogs be euthanized, Grateful Dogs saves as many as possible by fostering these dogs until a loving home is found.

Grateful Dogs Rescue is always in need of new foster homes!  You can make a difference by fostering. The number of dogs we can save is dependent on having foster parents to care for them until they find their forever homes.

Grateful Dogs Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to rescuing, fostering and rehoming dogs in the San Francisco Bay Area. Grateful Dogs Rescue is a registered 501-(c) (3) non-profit organization (TIN 94-3251570). All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated. Our Adoption Process...

The Grateful Dogs Rescue adoption procedure is designed to find a good match between the dog and adopter. Our goal is a happy human and happy dog in a "forever home." The adoption procedure includes an application, interview, home inspection, and an adoption fee. The adoption fee helps to cover spay/neuter, shots and other medical care given before the dog is made available for adoption.
