Claire's Story...
A GENEROUS DONOR HAS PAID THE ADOPTION FEE FOR THIS CAT IN ORDER TO ENCOURAGE YOU TO ADOPT HER!

Hi! I’m Claire and I’m 5 years old! I’m very active for my age and I love playing with toys and laser pointers! I’m a little shy at first but once you bring out the treats I will warm up fast! I am very sweet once I get settled in! I like to sleep and cuddle most of the day! I love to be pet, scratched, massaged... really anything will make me purr! I’m a very good eater and am curious about people food too even though it’s bad for me! I’m not so sure about other animals sometimes and get scared of them! I like sneaking into tight spaces when I want to hide too. I love to scratch on a post so make sure you have one! Can’t wait to meet my forever home and purr my way to your hearts!

Claire is spayed, litterbox trained, is up to date on vaccinations and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Her estimated date of birth is 9/18/11.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Claire, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
