Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bertie is a beautiful 2 year old, 47 pound, white dog with both black and subtle tan spots. She is a very sweet girl who loves to get rubs. She is housebroken. She prefers not to be crated, but to stay in her area of the house (a breakfast nook with a dog bed and bowl of water) while her foster mom is away at work. She sleeps in her doggie bed in her foster mom's room at night without making a peep. She does not love getting into a car, but once in, she doesn't mind it at all. She is very active and enjoys rough housing with her dog brothers. She pays no mind to the 4 foot chain link fence and has never tried to jump it. She likes to chew on bones to keep herself occupied when her brothers are not interested in playing with her. She recently had pups and is still a little underweight, so she really enjoys her meals!! She was recently spayed and did wonderfully. Bertie would make an awesome dog for an individual, couple, or family. She is a little timid when meeting new people, but warms up quickly. Like many dogs, she needs a little time to warm up to new dogs as well as people, but she has bonded very closely to her foster mom and foster dog brothers. She is a truly good girl and did I mention beautiful? :)
