Meet Winter! She is a sweet hound mix, who can't wait to meet his new family.

Winter enjoys long walks and lots of play time. She also loves to spend time at the dog park or doggie daycare to socialize and meet new friends. She also like to cuddle though and show her appreciation for taking good care of her with lots of kisses!

Winter would love to show off her smarts at obedience school and/or work with a trainer to learn some new tricks to impress her new family.

In addition, Winters interacts great with kids! She also gets along well with other dogs, so she could be a fantastic addition to a household with other pets. If you have cats and are interested in Winter, we can try to find out ahead of time how he may interact with your feline friends by introducing her to another cat.

Like most shelter dogs, Winter may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained. If you've never crate trained a dog before, we can provide you with an overview and additional resources.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Carrie at carrief@luckydoganimalrescue.org.

About Lucky Dog Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a group of highly motivated and highly dedicated volunteers. We spend countless hours making sure that wonderful dogs find loving forever homes. We don't do it for money -- we do it for the joy a dog can bring to its new family; we do it for our love of animals; and we do it to save lives!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!
