Hope was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. She was just a tiny little girl, very sick and shaking with fever. She suffered a gaping wound to her hip that became dirty and left untreated, spread infection throughout the wound and her little frail body. We rushed 4 month old Hope to the vet where she has received life saving treatment. Hope is up to date on shots and will be spayed when medically appropriate. Hope has endured some horrible things in her short life. She is learning to trust humans again and needs a family that is willing to give some time to earn her trust. Since she is hand shy, she needs a home that will show her that human hands are for comfort and not to cause fear.
