Our rescue will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express Saturday, December 3rd from 1-4pm and Sunday, December 4th from 12-3pm. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated and microchipped.

* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. * We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted. * We do not ship our dogs for any reason. * Our adoption fee is $400 for each dog/puppy. * If it is on a weekend of our adoptions, follow us on @DPSRescue on Twitter to get real time updates on our adoptions. We will also post at the end of the evening the names of those dogs who have been adopted: www.facebook.com/DPSRescue

This kitten will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, December 3rd from 1-4pm and Sunday, December 4th from 12-3pm or until adopted. However, we do meet with those who submit an application and are approved just prior to the event (by invitation only) and they are given the first opportunity to adopt. If you are interested in one of our cats or dogs, we recommend filling out an application prior to the event to be considered. Applications submitted within 24 hours of the event may not necessarily be reviewed.

Pilgrim is an independent kind of gal and takes her time warming up to people. She’s friendly with everyone and super playful but she doesn’t really open up until she feels she’s gotten a sense of who you are. She’s much more comfortable around her littermates and as such would do best to go to a home with another cat(or three!). It’s not that she doesn’t like people, it’s just that she has certain needs that only her feline friends can meet. She After she’s adjusted she loves to cuddle in your lap or run circles around you. Pilgrim is the kitten embodiment of a bookworm-she’s very thoughtful, enjoys her quiet solitude, and she loves to cuddle with those she loves. If you’re looking for a companion that enjoys her own company but would prefer to share her life with someone else then Pilgrim is your purrfect pairing!

The Thanksgiving litter is 10 weeks old. They were rescued from the shelter with their mom at 2 weeks old and have been showered with love and affection ever since. With the help of their foster mom and their biological mom they’ve matured into healthy, adorable little furballs who would be a great fit for almost any family! They like dogs, they like other cats, and they LOVE people. All they ask of their furever families is unconditional love, patience, and care. In return, you’ll get showered with devotion, kitten kisses and crazy high doses of cuteness.

Each one would be an amazing addition to your family so what are you waiting for? Apply ASAP to be considered! Their foster mom is a dedicated volunteer and can be contacted at sydney@dpsrescue.com with any further questions about this litter, kittens in general or our adoption process. Can’t choose? Try for two! Kittens are inherently social beings and do even better in homes where they have a feline friend to share their time with when you’re away-we prefer to place them in couples. The adoption fee is $150 per kitten, and all our kittens are spayed/neutered, shots current, dewormed, frontline for fleas and ticks, microchipped and FELV/AIDS negative.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.

Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
