Lola's Story...
Lola is a laid-back and friendly 7 year old girl who is just as sweet as could be. Lola came to us through no fault of her own and loves everyone she meets. Lola may be nervous in new situations, but it usually doesn't take long for her to warm up and start give snuggles. This wonderdog loves to spend time with her people and also seems to enjoy the company of her doggy friends just as much, although a meet and greet is required before she can go into a home with other dogs. Lola seems to do well with both cats and kids and would love nothing more to snuggle on the couch with you for the rest of eternity. Stop by MCHS and give this staff favorite a loving furrever home, today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Martinsville Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Martinsville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Martinsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Martinsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Martinsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Martinsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
