I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Molly's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Molly's Story...
Molly is about 2 yrs old and 38 lbs. She is good with other dogs, not sure about cats but has a strong prey drive with squirrels, so probably not. She knows how to use a pet door. Molly is skeptical of strangers but once she gets to know you, she is very loving. She's a sweet girl, loves to ride in the car. She was a stray and can get out of low fences or any weak points and will dig if she gets bored. She has a higher energy level than most chows and short attention span. Needs work on the leash (puller). Would do best with an active person and/or another dog to play with. Being fostered in Tucker, GA.

Chap's Adoption Process:

1) If possible, meet the rescue dog of interest by appointment.
2) Complete the online adoption application.
3) The application shall be reviewed and references checked by one of our Volunteers.
4) A home visit must be performed by Chap's or a local designee.
5) If approved, complete the online adoption contract and submit the adoption donation ($200 adults / $300 puppies).
6) Arrange for pick up, we no longer put our dogs on transport, you must come get your new family member. If you live west of the MS River, please consider adopting closer to home.
7) If at any point the adopted pet isn't a good fit in its new family, Chap's will welcome the pet back to the rescue.
8) We are Volunteers and do this in our spare time, please keep this in mind.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Tucker Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow for sale in Tucker, or seeking a Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Tucker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tucker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tucker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow breeders who help with Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tucker paves the way for another one to be saved.
