Rafy aka Ralphie's Story...
Shushan, New York 12873

Ralphie, fka Rafy, 1 year old 17 lb Nowich Terrier Mix, is making such progress in his new foster home! Here is what his devoted foster mom had to say about Ralphie Boy!

"Ralphie is so great! He likes hanging out with my little dogs, and adores my husband. I believe he would enjoy a mature couple, looking for a little guy to be their buddy. Ralphie is a mellow, low energy guy who is the consummate couch potato, although he does love to go on his walks. Perfectly housetrained….And we no longer use the crate at night for him… He just sleeps in the Man Cave. Ralphie is shy around strangers and will hide if possible and then very slowly come in to check them out….He is very cautious about letting them touch him and needs time to trust. Ralphie is a treasure to have around and with patience and a caring nature, Ralphie will become your very best friend."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rafy aka Ralphie, a New York Norwich Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwich Terrier for sale in New York, or seeking a Norwich Terrier dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwich Terrier breeders who help with Norwich Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
