Mona's Story...
Introducing Mona. Mona is a gentle, sweet tempered girl in need of a forever family to call her own. As with most rescues, we are not sure of her mix but she is medium in size, weighs around 35 lbs and was born around 2010. Her fur is medium in length and a beautiful reddish color mixed with tan. A home that has the time to spend with her would be great as she really seems to enjoy human companionship, being petted, and being near her human. With her eager to please personality, she will blossom into quite the love. She'd benefit from continued leash training and basic obedience using positive reinforcement to build up her confidence. If you are that special someone to provide sweet Mona with the loving family she so deserves then please contact us at RickyC68@aol.com and please include a phone number where you can be reached. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mona, a Simsbury Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Simsbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Simsbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simsbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simsbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simsbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
