If you have read any of the books Carl the Good Dog, you already know how wonderful a Rottweiler can be! Garber is a Rottweiler Mix with the typical Black/Tan markings of a Rottie. He is about 4 years old and just a big ole baby. Garber craves human affection. If he could spend all day cuddled in your lap he would! He loves playing with tug toys and usually ends up in a tug-o-war with my other dog (Female, spayed, 2yr, pit/mix). He also loves rawhides bones and will occupy himself for hours on end with one. Garber absolutely LOVES, LOVES, LOVES going on walks. If you say, "let’s go!" he will run right to the door. It is quite funny watching Garber and my other dog get ready for walks. They act like children going to an amusement park! He does great walking on the leash and will only pull occasionally. Garber loves treats! He will sit and give you paw (both sides depending on which hand you ask for). He is a great napping buddy and will cuddle the whole time. He appears to be house trained and will paw at the door if he needs to go outside. Please come meet Garber, he is craving a fur-ever home and a buddy! Garber's adoption fee covers vaccinations, a microchip, and 30 days of pet insurance - remarkable for a dog like Garber.
