PEPPER is a beautiful 9-year-old Lab Mix that was picked up as a stray with massive Mammary Gland Tumors that had ulcerated. She spent most of her life giving birth to one litter of puppies after another before being discarded after her “moneymaking” days were over.

PEPPER had surgery immediately after coming into our care. Her large tumor was removed along with lymph nodes that were in the area. Unfortunately, the results came back that Pepper has Extraskeletal Osteosarcoma which is rare type of cancer that is deadly if left untreated. She is currently taking medication to combat her illness and has thus far responded extremely well.

PEPPER is a wonderful dog that should have never been in this horrible situation. She is a beautiful, loving gal that wants nothing more than to be at someone's feet to enjoy the rest of her years. She is a fairly low-energy dog and walks very obediently on leash. She loves to play fetch in the yard with her favorite tennis ball and will do very well in a home environment.

PEPPER is vaccinated and neutered. She is house and crate trained, micro-chipped and is heartworm negative. We require an application, home check and adoption fee. We do adopt out of state and can assist with transport arrangements. Our dogs are not allowed to fly cargo.

All our dogs are in foster care and have a safe place with us until they find their forever home. We are located near Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
