My name is Chester and I am a very loving boy! I am so loyal that I will come every time my name is called. My foster says that I am the most loyal, friendly, and loving boy that she has met! I am also a very energetic boy and I love chasing toys when you throw them! My foster mom will throw my toys and I will run after them and grab them, getting you to think that I am playing fetch, but really I am going to go to a different spot and chew on that toy until you throw another one, then the process starts over! I like to think I'm a catch! My favorite thing is cuddling, in the morning especially! I love to go in my foster mom's bed in the morning and knead on her and lay in bed with her. I love food a lot, I will eat every single morsel of food put in my dish, so my foster only feeds me at meal times to prevent me from over eating. I also love purring when I am pet on my head, I don't really enjoy being pet on my body, especially not on my butt. I do not need to be the only cat in the home in order to be myself, I do well with other cats, however it does not break any deals if I was the only cat I would gladly take all of your attention! All I know is whoever's home I end up in, I am sure to give you enough love, loyalty, and fun for all of my life.

MEET ME/ADOPT ME: If you’d like to arrange a meeting or begin the adoption process, please fill out an adoption application by visiting www.twincitiespetrescue.org/adopt/adopt-a-cat/. A volunteer from Twin Cities Pet Rescue will contact you once your application is reviewed.

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED!!! Twin Cities Pet Rescue is a volunteer-run, foster home-based organization. We can only rescue as many animals as available foster homes. Please consider saving the life of an animal in need and become a volunteer foster home today. To become a foster, fill out a dog or cat foster application on the Twin Cities Pet Rescue website: www.twincitiespetrescue.org. There is little to no cost to foster an animal. Twin Cities Pet Rescue provides its foster families with food, supplies, and veterinary care for its animals. All you need to do is supply the love!

PLEASE NOTE: Twin Cities Pet Rescue does not adopt to homes further than 60 miles from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro Area.

About Twin Cities Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.

Our Adoption Process...

All adopters complete an adoption application. If approved, we arrange a meet and greet. Cats and small animals can be adopted and go home at the time of the meet and greet after the adoption agreement is complete and adoption fee collected (which is variable based on animal type, etc). For dogs, we complete home visits and then finalize the adoption.
