The Dynamic Duo
Duckie & Pitri are an extremely bonded pair of Chihuahuas. They are both about 3. Duckie is a Wirehaired Chihuahua, around 10 pounds and spayed. Pitri is a smooth coated Chihuahua, around 11 pounds and neutered.
This lovable pair was dropped off together at the shelter for having accidents in the house. Since they have been with me, they have not had any problems. They sleep together in a crate at night.
Duckie and Pitri are very sweet and loving. They are social but very shy. Loud noises and sudden movements startle them. As far as I know, they have been together their whole lives. They really count on each other for support and comfort. Because of this, they need to be adopted together.
Both Duckie and Pitri are up to date on vaccines and are micro chipped. Pitri has allergies and is on a prescription food (Hills d/d), a few over the counter allergy medications and a prescription eye drop. This will probably be a lifelong need.
The ideal family for this dynamic duo would be one where they can live together and the house is not too loud and busy. At this time, it is unknown how they are with children or cats.
If you are interested in meeting this duo, email email@example.com or fill out an adoption application at www.tucsoncoldwetnoses.com.
For Duckie and Pitri, their combined adoption fee is $225, and then they will each need a separate PACC license, and that will be an additional $18 for each one, for a total of $261.
