Shorty's Story...
Introducing the cutest little stud muffin! Shorty is a jack russell terrier and too cute and too short! This little fella is 5 years old and weighs about 8 lbs. He's a wire hair to some extent and his legs are quite crooked but it doesn't effect his travel or happiness at all. He's a busy bee but also sweet as can be and loves to cuddle. Shorty enjoys car rides, listens well, and is just a fun companion. He's great with children, other dogs, and cats too. This boy is a perfect addition to a family. If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Thank you for considering adoption

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shorty, a Minot Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Minot, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Minot.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minot already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minot breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minot paves the way for another one to be saved.
