Sugar Bee is a sweet and sassy calico lady who found herself at animal control in early August after her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. Skinny, and having just finished nursing babies that were nowhere to be found, she had hairloss from a flea allergy and came down with a kitty cold. Her foster mom swooped in to save her and make her feel right as rain again, and now she’s searching for her forever family. Sugar Bee is around 3-5 years old, and has a beautiful shiny calico coat; she seems to know just how pretty she is because she very much likes to show off her figure by stretching as far as she can while purring. Sugar Bee has a cloudy eye, most likely from an old injury or trauma, in which she has little to no vision in that eye. It appears scarred; but causes her no pain or discomfort. She certainly doesn’t let it deter her spunky spirit! She loves to play, and weave in and out of your legs, and is like a little shadow as you make your way around the house. Her litterbox habits are impecable and while she’d never beg, she’d adore a home that would allow her a wet food treat every now and again; as she’s a big fan of canned cat food. She’s not a huge fan of other adult cats - she’d maybe be able to eventually adjust to an adult sibling provided her home was large enough, but her preference is to be the only leading lady in your life. She’d like to live without dogs, as they frighten her a bit too much. However, she lived in a home with two young children (who are cat savvy) and was gentle with them. Sugar Bee is looking for a home where she can curl up in a sunny spot when you’re at work, and snuggle close at night while you watch TV; could you be her new forever?

Act quickly to adopt Sugar Bee. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.
