Facts about Stewart

  • Breed: Chihuahua/Corgi Mix
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
Stewart is a spunky, smart, and sassy guy in one cute tiny package. Stewart is quite a versatile dog, he likes to go for walks or play at the park, chase treats that you throw around the house, and is content on the couch for a day of Netflix and chill. Stewart prefers the simple life, he really just wants to hang out with his people. Stewart might not like to be picked up and carried around, but he loves to cuddle on his own terms and will come sit in your lap for snuggles when he is ready. Stewart likes to keep his dog friends as occasional visitors and would do best living as an only dog. He would be a fantastic companion dog and has a ton of love to give. Stewart has also been through professional training and his forever family will get to meet with his trainer prior to adoption to learn more about Stewart.

SAAP dogs and puppies are vet checked, UTD on vaccines, spayed/neutered, micro chipped, and given flea and heartworm preventatives as age appropriate.

About Stray Animal Adoption Program

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?

We need your help to continue our mission. We rely solely on donations and fundraisers. All donations are tax-deductible and 100% of your donation will go towards the rescue, care, and medical needs of the animals.

If you need info on a cat or kitten please contact 859-391-2944

Our Adoption Process...

You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.
