Well, I'm waiting for the part of the story...you know, where you adopt me and we live happily ever after! I'm Suri (612091) and I'm a 7 year old, Heeler mix, girl. I'm a very sweet, calm, loving, dog. I'm very attentive and wait for you to show me what you want me to do next. I'm very smart! I know SIT, SHAKE, and can learn fast! I would love a family that will let me be close to them and be an active part of their life. I'm a great dog and I want a great home.
**Suri's medical history - she has had surgery sponsored by Adopt My Heart.
**Suri is heartworm positive. Her treatment is sponsored by Adopt My Heart, a non-profit organization providing sponsorship for our adopted heartworm positive dogs as donations allow.
We have some updates on her health:
- The bio psy on her tumor came back malignant, and was thought to be a fast spreading cancer, however an subsequent ultrasound of her abdomen, along with xrays of her lungs, show no other tumors which is great!
She is an older girl, but will make an amazing pet! She has done great in her foster home - she loves just hanging out, but also loves to play fetch and is still active. She knows sit, down, shake and stay. Loves car rides, love walks - and she LOVES hanging out with you on the couch!
She MUST be an indoor dog only and will be available for adoption at the shelter on Sunday October 30!!!
Come meet her!!
