If you are looking for a dog that plays fetch and actually brings the ball back to you, then Keira is for you! Keira is a beautiful 18 month old black lab mix.  She gets along great with other dogs. Keira is working on not jumping up on people and is making progress. She is extremely intelligent, focuses on her trainer and learns quickly. She is crate trained and doesn't chew on anything she isn't supposed to. She loves the company of other dogs and would do best in a home with another dog to play with. A completely fenced yard is required with her adoption. Keira is spayed, up to date on shots and heartworm pills and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.00. About Project Hope Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We focus primarily on rescuing senior and special needs dogs in kill facilities. We are located on 30 acres of land in rural southern Michigan. We are a care-for-life facility, so any dog that does not or that we deem cannot be adopted will live with us for the rest of his/her life. Because we rescue the dogs that are not in high demand, it normally takes our dogs longer to find that perfect family. We believe that it takes a special family to adopt our special dogs.

Our Adoption Process...

We require that the interested adopter come to meet the dog and then fill out an adoption application. We will review the application and then pass on to the dog's foster family (if applicable). We then contact the potential adopter's vet and we will also do a home visit. If all goes well, the adopter signs our adoption contract stating that, among other things, the dog will receive regular vet care and must be returned to us if things do not work out.
